The Loop Longhorns basketball team scored 63 points and limited the visiting Dawson Dragons to 45 in the Longhorns league triumph on Tuesday.

The Longhorns now possess a 22-4 record. They play next when they travel to Sands for a 1A Region I District 6 game on Friday, January 31. Loop will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 42-34 league win over Grady (Lenorah, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 19-6.

With the loss, Dawson falls to 0-12 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Klondike (Lamesa, TX) to confront the Cougars in a 1A Region I District 6 game on Friday, January 31. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 15-4. Klondike won 63-62 in their recent league game against Borden County (Gail, TX)
