New York High School Basketball - Rush-Henrietta sneaks past Fairport

The Rush-Henrietta Royal Comets (Henrietta, NY) basketball edged the host Fairport Red Raiders (Fairport, NY), 66-62 in Friday's league bout.

The Royal Comets now possess a 9-0 record. They play next when they host Hilton for a Section 5 Monroe 1 bout on Wednesday, January 15. Rush-Henrietta will play a Cadets team coming off a 60-45 league loss to Webster Schroeder (Webster, NY). The Cadets record now stands at 0-4.

With the loss, Fairport falls to 8-1 on the campaign. The Red raiders travel to Penfield (Penfield, NY) to play the Patriots in a Section 5 Monroe 1 bout on Wednesday, January 15. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 8-1. Penfield won 75-53 in their recent league bout against Victor (Victor, NY)
