New York High School Basketball - Rush-Henrietta nips Fairport

February 12, 2025: Henrietta, NY 14467

The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Rush-Henrietta Royal Comets (Henrietta, NY) and the visiting Fairport Red Raiders (Fairport, NY), observed Rush-Henrietta's basketball team edge Fairport by a margin of 85-82.

The Royal Comets (17-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Jamestown (Jamestown, NY). The Red & Green come into the non-league challenge with a 13-2 record. In their last challenge, Jamestown edged Frontier (Hamburg, NY), 76-58, in a league challenge.

Coming up next, the Red Raiders play the Churchville-Chili Saints (Churchville, NY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 14. Fairport will attempt to move on its 12-3 season record. The Saints go into the bout with a 2-8 record after their 63-53 league loss to Spencerport (Spencerport, NY).
