Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Greensburg Central Catholic sneaks past Jeannette

The Greensburg Central Catholic Centurions basketball team scored 53 points and limited the host Jeannette Jayhawks to 47 in the Centurions league triumph on Friday.

The Centurions now possess a 12-1 record. They play next when they host Springdale for a WPIAL 2A 1 game on Tuesday, January 14. Greensburg Central Catholic will play a Dynamos team coming off a 59-27 league win over Frazier (Perryopolis, PA). The Dynamos record now stands at 9-4.

With the loss, Jeannette falls to 11-1 on the campaign. The Jayhawks travel to Clairton (Clairton, PA) to play the Bears in a WPIAL 2A 1 game on Tuesday, January 14. The Bears go into the game with a record of 4-4. Clairton won 48-45 in their recent league game against Riverview (Oakmont, PA)
