The Hitchcock County Falcons bounced the host Wauneta-Palisade Broncos basketball squad by a final score of 65-23 in Friday's league outing.

Next, the Falcons clash with the Dundy County-Stratton Tigers (Benkelman, NE) in a D1 District 12 outing, on Tuesday, January 14. Hitchcock County will attempt to upgrade on its 8-1 season record. The Tigers enter the outing with a 8-2 record after their 70-39 non-league loss to Chase County (Imperial, NE).
