Nebraska High School Basketball - Hitchcock County triumphant over Wauneta-Palisade

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Hitchcock County Falcons (Trenton, NE) and the visiting Wauneta-Palisade Broncos (Wauneta, NE), observed Hitchcock County's basketball team overwhelm Wauneta-Palisade by a score of 60-23.

The Falcons (11-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Paxton (Paxton, NE). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 10-4 record. In their last challenge, Paxton trounced Maywood/Hayes Center (Maywood, NE), 41-37, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Broncos encounter the Maywood/Hayes Center Wolves (Maywood, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Wauneta-Palisade will attempt to improve on its 1-14 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 9-7 record after their 41-37 non-league loss to Paxton (Paxton, NE).
