Next, the Miners clash with the University Prep Panthers (Redding, CA) in a Northern test, on Tuesday, January 14. Yreka will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 11-6 record after their 70-60 non-league win over Las Plumas (Oroville, CA).

The Grizzlies (3-14) will now prepare for their test against CORE Butte (Chico, CA). The Lynx come into the non-league test with a 0-8 record. In their last test, CORE Butte was nipped by Portola (Portola, CA), 77-34, in a non-league test.
