The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Yreka Miners (Yreka, CA) and the visiting Lassen Grizzlies (Susanville, CA), observed Yreka's basketball team knock off Lassen by a score of 65-46.

The Miners (9-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Anderson (Anderson, CA). The Cubs come into the Northern challenge with a 8-13 record. In their last challenge, Anderson was knocked off by West Valley (Cottonwood, CA), 54-43, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Grizzlies encounter the Central Valley Falcons (Shasta Lake, CA) in a Northern challenge, on Friday, January 24. Lassen will attempt to improve on its 3-17 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 2-18 record after their 72-32 league loss to University Prep (Redding, CA).
