The Los Fresnos Falcons basketball team scored 67 points and limited the host Veterans Memorial Chargers to 59 in the Falcons league triumph on Friday.

The Falcons now have a 20-7 record. They play next when they host Harlingen for a 6A Region IV District 32 game on Tuesday, January 14. Los Fresnos will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 68-48 league win over Hanna (Brownsville, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 22-4.

With the loss, Veterans Memorial falls to 10-17 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to San Benito (San Benito, TX) to confront the Greyhounds in a 6A Region IV District 32 game on Tuesday, January 14. The Greyhounds go into the game with a record of 7-8. San Benito won 55-47 in their recent non-league game against Valley View (Pharr, TX)
