Texas High School Basketball - Taft victorious over West Oso

In Friday's league contest, the host Taft Greyhounds basketball team scored a good 81-70 triumph over the West Oso Bears.

The Greyhounds (14-11) will now prepare for their contest against Mathis (Mathis, TX). The Pirates go into the 3A Region IV District 29 contest with a 8-11 record. In their last contest, Mathis was topped by George West (George West, TX), 55-37, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Bears confront the Odem Owls (Odem, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 29 contest, on Tuesday, January 14. West Oso will attempt to better on its 18-9 season record.
