The Pinnacle Pioneers basketball team scored 78 points and limited the visiting Apollo Hawks to 30 in the Pioneers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Pioneers now have a 13-4 record. They play next when they travel to Basha for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 14. Pinnacle will confront a Bears team coming off a 62-57 league loss to Perry (Gilbert, AZ). The Bears record now stands at 10-7.

With the loss, Apollo falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Hawks host Boulder Creek (Anthem, AZ) to confront the Jaguars in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 14. The Jaguars go into the game with a record of 4-12. Boulder Creek lost 56-37 in their recent non-league game against Shadow Ridge (Surprise, AZ)
