The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Round Mountain Knights (Round Mountain, NV) and the visiting Beatty Hornets (Beatty, NV), observed Round Mountain's basketball team overwhelm Beatty by a score of 63-16.

The Knights (7-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Tonopah (Tonopah, NV). The Muckers come into the 1A Central challenge with a 8-7 record. In their last challenge, Tonopah trounced Lund (Lund, NV), 36-32, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Hornets battle the Indian Springs Thunderbirds (Indian Springs, NV) in a 1A Central challenge, on Friday, January 17. Beatty will attempt to improve on its 2-12 season record.
