In Friday's league contest, the host Big Spring Steers basketball team scored a big 72-28 triumph over the Lake View Chiefs.
The Steers (9-12) will now prepare for their contest against Levelland (Levelland, TX). The Lobos go into the 4A Region I District 5 contest with a 12-4 record. In their last contest, Levelland was trounced by Liberty (Lubbock, TX), 37-33, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Chiefs battle the Snyder Tigers (Snyder, TX) in a 4A Region I District 5 contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Lake View will attempt to better on its 2-18 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 7-20 record after their 60-38 league loss to Estacado (Lubbock, TX).
