In Tuesday's league test, the Big Spring Steers (Big Spring, TX) basketball squad trounced the host Lake View Chiefs (San Angelo, TX), by a score of 55-20.

Next, the Steers clash with the Levelland Lobos (Levelland, TX) in a 4A Region I District 5 test, on Friday, January 31. Big Spring will attempt to improve on its 10-16 season record. The Lobos come into the test with a 17-5 record after their 33-28 league loss to Liberty (Lubbock, TX).

The Chiefs (2-24) will now prepare for their test against Snyder (Snyder, TX). The Tigers come into the 4A Region I District 5 test with a 10-22 record. In their last test, Snyder bounced Estacado (Lubbock, TX), 50-49, in a league test.
