Texas High School Basketball - Loop crushes Dawson

The Loop Longhorns (Loop, TX) basketball crushed the host Dawson Dragons (Welch, TX), 50-15 in Friday's league bout.
The Longhorns now possess a 8-8 record. They play next when they host Sands for a 1A Region I District 6 bout on Tuesday, January 14. Loop will play a Mustangs team coming off a 34-22 league win over Grady (Lenorah, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 13-11.
With the loss, Dawson falls to 5-12 on the campaign. The Dragons host Klondike (Lamesa, TX) to play the Cougars in a 1A Region I District 6 bout on Tuesday, January 14. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 11-13. Klondike lost 72-36 in their recent league bout against Borden County (Gail, TX)
