Texas High School Basketball - Loop knocks off Dawson

The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Loop Longhorns (Loop, TX) and the visiting Dawson Dragons (Welch, TX), observed Loop's basketball team overcome Dawson by a margin of 36-26.
The Longhorns (9-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Sands (Ackerly, TX). The Mustangs come into the 1A Region I District 6 challenge with a 16-13 record. In their last challenge, Sands dropped by Grady (Lenorah, TX), 29-24, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Dragons battle the Klondike Cougars (Lamesa, TX) in a 1A Region I District 6 challenge, on Friday, January 31. Dawson will attempt to better on its 5-16 season record.
