Nebraska High School Basketball - Mitchell knocked off by Gordon-Rushville

In Friday's league test, the Gordon-Rushville Mustangs (Gordon, NE) basketball squad knocked off the host Mitchell Tigers (Mitchell, NE), by a score of 35-24.

Next, the Mustangs encounter the Bayard Tigers (Bayard, NE) in a C2 District 12 test, on Saturday, January 11. Gordon-Rushville will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Tigers come into the test with a 5-3 record after their 34-25 non-league win over Hay Springs (Hay Springs, NE).

The Tigers (5-5) will now prepare for their test against Chadron (Chadron, NE). The Cardinals come into the C1 District 12 test with a 5-5 record. In their last test, Chadron went down by Lakota Tech (Pine Ridge, SD), 56-33, in a non-league test.
