The University Prep Pumas (Seattle, WA) basketball edged the host Granite Falls Tigers (Granite Falls, WA), 62-60 in Friday's league bout.
The Pumas now possess a 2-6 record. They play next when they host Eastside Prep for a 1A Emerald Sound bout on Wednesday, January 15. University Prep will play a team coming off a 39-31 league loss to South Whidbey (Langley, WA). The record now stands at 4-4.
With the loss, Granite Falls falls to 4-6 on the campaign. The Tigers host Overlake (Redmond, WA) to play the Owls in a 1A Emerald Sound bout on Saturday, January 11. The Owls go into the bout with a record of 0-7. Overlake lost 46-33 in their recent league bout against Eastside Prep (Kirkland, WA)
