In Friday's league test, the Wheatland-Grinnell Thunderhawks (Grainfield, KS) basketball squad trounced the host Logan/Palco (Logan, KS), by a score of 57-22.

Next, the Thunderhawks clash with the Dighton Hornets (Dighton, KS) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, January 14. Wheatland-Grinnell will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Hornets come into the test with a 4-4 record after their 68-48 league loss to Quinter (Quinter, KS).

The (2-6) will now prepare for their test against Stockton (Stockton, KS). The Tigers come into the non-league test with a 5-2 record.
