In Friday's league contest, the visiting Red Lion Lions basketball team scored a good 58-48 triumph over the South Western Mustangs.

The Lions (14-0) will now prepare for their contest against Northeastern (Manchester, PA). The Bobcats go into the York-Adams 2 contest with a 2-10 record. In their last contest, Northeastern was topped by Dallastown (Dallastown, PA), 56-28, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Mustangs confront the Susquehannock Warriors (Glen Rock, PA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 20. South Western will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record.
