The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Red Lion Lions (Red Lion, PA) and the visiting South Western Mustangs (Hanover, PA), observed Red Lion's basketball team overcome South Western by a score of 53-45.

The Lions (20-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Northeastern (Manchester, PA). The Bobcats come into the non-league challenge with a 4-14 record. In their last challenge, Northeastern dropped by Dallastown (Dallastown, PA), 55-50, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Waynesboro Indians (Waynesboro, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 3. South Western will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 10-8 record after their 53-21 league win over East Pennsboro (Enola, PA).
