The Slidell Greyhounds basketball team scored 56 points and limited the host Tioga Bulldogs to 33 in the Greyhounds league triumph on Friday.

The Greyhounds now have a 17-7 record. They play next when they travel to Muenster for a 2A Region II District 13 game on Tuesday, January 14. Slidell will confront a Hornets team coming off a 64-27 league win over Era (Era, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 21-5.

With the loss, Tioga falls to 5-11 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Alvord (Alvord, TX) to confront the Bulldogs in a 2A Region II District 13 game on Tuesday, January 14. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 3-18.
