California High School Soccer - Alameda knocks off Encinal

In Friday's league outing, the visiting Alameda Hornets soccer squad scored a nice 9-0 victory over the Encinal Jets.
The Hornets (4-2) will now prepare for their outing against Bishop O'Dowd (Oakland, CA). The Dragons go into the outing with a 2-1 record. In their last outing, Bishop O'Dowd prevailed over Acalanes (Lafayette, CA), 3-1, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Jets play the Berkeley Yellowjackets (Berkeley, CA) in a outing, on Thursday, January 16. Encinal will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the outing with a 7-2 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Monte Vista (Danville, CA).
