The California Academy of Math & Science Rebels basketball team scored 53 points and held the host New Roads Jaguars to 49 in the Rebels league triumph on Wednesday.

The Rebels now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host New Roads for a Coastal contest on Tuesday, January 17. California Academy of Math & Science will meet a Jaguars team coming off a 81-49 league win over Hawthorne Math & Science Academy (Hawthorne, CA). The Jaguars record now stands at 5-6.

The Jaguars (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Hawthorne Math & Science Academy (Hawthorne, CA). The The Aviators enter the Coastal contest with a 0-12 record. In their last contest, Hawthorne Math & Science Academy was nudged by California Academy of Math & Science (Carson, CA), 86-55, in a league contest.
