In Wednesday's league outing, the Cosby Titans (Midlothian, VA) basketball squad nipped the host Powhatan Indians (Powhatan, VA), by a margin of 53-46.
The Titans (8-4) will now prepare for their outing against Wythe (Richmond, VA). The Bulldogs go into the Dominion outing with a 1-10 record. In their last outing, Wythe was tipped by Clover Hill (Midlothian, VA), 65-54, in a league outing.
The Indians now own a 4-8 record. They play next when they travel to Manchester for a Dominion outing on Friday, January 13. Powhatan will encounter a Lancers squad coming off a 76-69 league loss to L.C. Bird (Chesterfield, VA). The Lancers record now stands at 11-1.
