The Cosby Titans (Midlothian, VA) basketball felled the visiting Powhatan Indians (Powhatan, VA), 57-43 in Friday's league test.
The Titans (14-7) will now prepare for their test against Meadowbrook (Richmond, VA). The Monarchs go into the non-league test with a 5-16 record. In their last test, Meadowbrook went down by Dinwiddie (Dinwiddie, VA), 66-53, in a league test.
The Indians now own a 8-13 record. They play next when they host James River Midlothian for a Dominion test on Monday, February 13. Powhatan will encounter a Rapids squad coming off a 89-73 league win over Midlothian (Midlothian, VA). The Rapids record now stands at 15-5.
