Virginia High School Basketball - Veritas Collegiate Academy tipped by Fredericksburg Christian

In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Fredericksburg Christian Eagles basketball team scored a tight 69-68 triumph over the Veritas Collegiate Academy Spartans.

In their next game, the Eagles meet the Saint John Paul the Great Catholic Wolves (Dumfries, VA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, January 12. Fredericksburg Christian will attempt to move on its 6-3 season record. The Wolves enter the match with a 5-8 record after their 64-61 non-league win over Benedictine (Richmond, VA).

With the defeat, Veritas Collegiate Academy moves to 9-4 on the year. The Spartans host Veritas School (Richmond, VA) to meet the Lions in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 17. The Lions enter the match with a record of 4-3.
