Virginia High School Basketball - Fredericksburg Christian beaten by Veritas Collegiate Academy

In Thursday's non-league match, the host Veritas Collegiate Academy Spartans basketball team scored a good 71-62 triumph over the Fredericksburg Christian Eagles.

In their next game, the Spartans face the Christ Chapel Academy (Woodbridge, VA) in a non-league match, on Friday, January 27. Veritas Collegiate Academy will attempt to move on its 11-4 season record. The enter the match with a 6-10 record after their 59-33 league win over Wakefield (The Plains, VA).

With the defeat, Fredericksburg Christian moves to 9-6 on the year. The Eagles host Trinity Christian (Fairfax, VA) to face the Gryphons in a VISAA Division II match on Tuesday, January 31. The Gryphons enter the match with a record of 4-8. Trinity Christian lost 62-34 in their recent league match against Seton (Manassas, VA)
