North Carolina High School Basketball - Rocky Mount Prep ripped by Northampton County

The Northampton County Jaguars basketball team scored 73 points and held the visiting Rocky Mount Prep Jaguars to 20 in the Jaguars league triumph on Wednesday.

The Jaguars now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wilson Prep for a 1A Conference 9 contest on Friday, January 13. Northampton County will battle a Tigers team coming off a 80-60 league win over Southeast Halifax (Halifax, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 8-6.

The Jaguars (0-8) will now prepare for their contest against Southeast Halifax (Halifax, NC). The Trojans enter the 1A Conference 9 contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Southeast Halifax was routed by Wilson Prep (Wilson, NC), 80-60, in a league contest.
