The Hurley Rebels (Hurley, VA) basketball knocked off the host Castlewood Blue Devils (Castlewood, VA), 29-19 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Rebels (4-8) will now prepare for their test against Richlands (Richlands, VA). The Blue Tornado go into the non-league test with a 10-1 record. In their last test, Richlands notched a victory over Virginia High (Bristol, VA), 54-27, in a league test.

The Blue Devils now own a 7-6 record. They play next when they host Eastside for a Cumberland test on Friday, January 13. Castlewood will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 60-24 non-league win over Patrick Henry (Glade Spring, VA). The Spartans record now stands at 10-3.
