Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Hurley Rebels (Hurley, VA) and the visiting Castlewood Blue Devils (Castlewood, VA), saw Hurley's basketball squad overcome Castlewood by a tally of 33-21.

With the victory, Hurley improves its record to 3-5 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Jenkins (Jenkins, KY) to confront the Cavaliers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 29. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Jenkins won 58-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Council (Council, VA)

Next up, the Blue Devils confront the Twin Springs Titans (Nickelsville, VA) in a Cumberland challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Castlewood will attempt to improve on its 6-2 season record.
