In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Cave Spring Knights (Roanoke, VA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Northside Vikings (Roanoke, VA), by a count of 70-48.
The Knights (11-3) will now prepare for their outing against Hidden Valley (Roanoke, VA). The Titans go into the River Ridge outing with a 3-11 record. In their last outing, Hidden Valley was crushed by Christiansburg (Christiansburg, VA), 62-27, in a league outing.
The Vikings now hold a 5-8 record. They play next when they host Staunton River for a Blue Ridge outing on Friday, January 13. Northside will clash with a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 56-38 league win over Byrd (Vinton, VA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 2-12.
