The Cave Spring Knights basketball team scored 66 points and restricted the host Northside Vikings to 46 in the Knights non-league victory on Thursday.

The Knights now sport a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Blacksburg for a River Ridge contest on Friday, January 20. Cave Spring will battle a Bruins team coming off a 45-32 non-league win over George Wythe (Wytheville, VA). The Bruins record now stands at 9-7.

The Vikings (7-10) will now prepare for their contest against Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA). The Eagles come into the Blue Ridge contest with a 9-7 record. In their last contest, Franklin County prevailed over Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA), 48-44, in a league contest.
