The Franklin Broncos basketball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Sussex Central Tigers to 0 in the Broncos league victory on Wednesday.
The Broncos now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Greensville County for a Tri-Rivers contest on Friday, January 13. Franklin will battle a Eagles team coming off a 48-42 league win over Windsor (Windsor, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 6-3.
The Tigers (0-11) will now prepare for their contest against Windsor (Windsor, VA). The Dukes come into the non-league contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, Windsor was nudged by Greensville County (Emporia, VA), 48-42, in a league contest.
