With the victory, Franklin upgrades its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Broncos travel to Lunenburg Central (Victoria, VA) to play the Chargers in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 6. The Chargers come into the challenge with a record of 3-3.

Next up, the Tigers play the Surry County Cougars (Dendron, VA) in a Tri-Rivers challenge, on Tuesday, December 20. Sussex Central will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 53-38 non-league loss to Rappahannock (Warsaw, VA).
