In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Pelion Panthers (Pelion, SC) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Horse Creek Academy Stallions (Aiken, SC), by a count of 59-15.
The Panthers (8-7) will now prepare for their outing against Fox Creek (North Augusta, SC). The Predators go into the AA Region 3 outing with a 1-11 record. In their last outing, Fox Creek was crushed by Williston-Elko (Williston, SC), 54-26, in a non-league outing.
The Stallions now hold a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Westminster Schools of Augusta for a non-league outing on Friday, January 13. Horse Creek Academy will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 54-44 non-league loss to Westminster Christian Academy (Watkinsville, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-7.
