Ocean City Raiders (Ocean City, NJ) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Our Lady of Mercy Academy Villagers (Newfield, NJ), 49-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Ocean City upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Raiders travel to Williamstown (Williamstown, NJ) to play the Braves in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 12. The Braves go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Williamstown won 51-41 in their recent non-league bout against Delsea (Franklinville, NJ)

Next up, the Villagers play the Mainland Regional Mustangs (Linwood, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 13. Our Lady of Mercy Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 10-2 record after their 54-30 non-league win over Vineland (Vineland, NJ).
