The Ocean City Raiders basketball team scored 45 points and held the host Our Lady of Mercy Academy Villagers to 37 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Raiders now sport a 16-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Toms River South for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 4. Ocean City will meet a Indians team coming off a 46-45 league loss to Toms River East (Toms River, NJ). The Indians record now stands at 4-14.
The Villagers (11-8) will now prepare for their contest against Mainland Regional (Linwood, NJ). The Mustangs enter the Cape/Atlantic - National contest with a 17-2 record. In their last contest, Mainland Regional ran past Vineland (Vineland, NJ), 75-51, in a non-league contest.
