California High School Basketball - Rancho Cotate overwhelms Piner

January 11, 2023: Santa Rosa, CA 95403

Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Rancho Cotate Cougars (Rohnert Park, CA) and the host Piner Prospectors (Santa Rosa, CA), saw Rancho Cotate's basketball squad wallop Piner by a tally of 67-24.

With the victory, Rancho Cotate improves its record to 7-10 on the campaign. The Cougars host Santa Rosa (Santa Rosa, CA) to confront the Panthers in a North Bay - Redwood challenge on Friday, January 13. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 11-6. Santa Rosa lost 55-30 in their recent league challenge against Healdsburg (Healdsburg, CA)

Next up, the Prospectors confront the Ukiah Wildcats (Ukiah, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 13. Piner will attempt to improve on its 5-11 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 10-7 record after their 71-64 league loss to Montgomery (Santa Rosa, CA).
