Oregon High School Basketball - Alsea succumbs to Mohawk

The Mohawk Mustangs topped the visiting Alsea Wolverines basketball team by a final score of 39-30 in Thursday's league game.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Siletz Valley (Siletz, OR) in a 1A Mountain West game, on Saturday, January 13. Mohawk will attempt to move on its 3-13 season record. The enter the game with a 3-8 record after their 35-33 league win over McKenzie (Finn Rock, OR).

With the defeat, Alsea moves to 1-14 on the year. The Wolverines host Eddyville (Eddyville, OR) to face the Eagles in a 1A Mountain West game on Saturday, January 13. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 5-8. Eddyville lost 48-46 in their recent league game against Crow (Eugene, OR)
