In Thursday's league outing, the Valor Preparatory Academy Owls (Concord, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Apprentice Academy Red Wolves (Monroe, NC), by a count of 78-20.
The Owls (5-7) will now prepare for their outing against Lake Norman Christian (Davidson, NC). The Storm go into the non-league outing with a 3-7 record. In their last outing, Lake Norman Christian was crushed by Mountain Island Charter (Mt. Holly, NC), 89-80, in a non-league outing.
The Red Wolves now hold a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Queen's Grant for a 1A Metro 8 outing on Friday, January 12. Apprentice Academy will clash with a Stallions squad coming off a 62-51 league loss to Sugar Creek (Charlotte, NC). The Stallions record now stands at 7-7.
