With the victory, Valor Preparatory Academy improves its record to 9-8 on the campaign. The Owls travel to Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC) to play the Stallions in a 1A Metro 8 challenge on Friday, January 26. The Stallions come into the challenge with a record of 9-10. Queen's Grant lost 66-58 in their recent non-league challenge against Albemarle (Albemarle, NC)

Next up, the Red Wolves play the Carolina International Comets (Concord, NC) in a 1A Metro 8 challenge, on Thursday, January 25. Apprentice Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-9 season record. The Comets come into the challenge with a 10-7 record after their 71-66 league win over Piedmont Community Charter (Gastonia, NC).
