In Thursday's league outing, the Banks Braves (Banks, OR) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Rainier Columbians (Rainier, OR), by a margin of 61-32.
The Braves (7-9) will now prepare for their outing against Astoria (Astoria, OR). The Fishermen go into the non-league outing with a 11-1 record. In their last outing, Astoria smashed Tillamook (Tillamook, OR), 68-60, in a league outing.
The Columbians now own a 1-14 record. They play next when they host Yamhill-Carlton for a 3A Coastal Range outing on Monday, January 15. Rainier will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 79-56 league win over Corbett (Corbett, OR). The Tigers record now stands at 7-9.
