Banks Braves (Banks, OR) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Rainier Columbians (Rainier, OR), 62-55 in a league bout.

With the win, Banks upgrades its record to 9-12 on the season. The Braves host Warrenton (Warrenton, OR) to clash with the Warriors in a 3A Coastal Range bout on Monday, February 5. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 12-8. Warrenton lost 64-53 in their recent league bout against Neah-Kah-Nie (Rockaway Beach, OR)

Next up, the Columbians clash with the Yamhill-Carlton Tigers (Yamhill, OR) in a 3A Coastal Range bout, on Friday, February 2. Rainier will attempt to upgrade on its 2-18 season record.
