The East Hardy Cougars (Baker, WV) basketball crushed the visiting Berkeley Springs Indians (Berkeley Springs, WV), 69-47 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Cougars (6-1) will now prepare for their test against Northern (Accident, MD). The Huskies go into the non-league test with a 4-6 record. In their last test, Northern was trounced by Southern (Oakland, MD), 61-49, in a league test.

The Indians now own a 2-8 record. They play next when they host GVCS Broadfording for a Freelance test on Tuesday, January 16. Berkeley Springs will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 72-33 non-league loss to Mountain Ridge (Frostburg, MD). The Lions record now stands at 5-16.
