Next up, the Indians confront the Waterloo Cougars (Waterloo, AL) in a 1A Area 16 challenge, on Friday, January 12. Cherokee will attempt to improve on its 8-12 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 2-12 record after their 72-39 league loss to Shoals Christian (Florence, AL).
