Iowa High School Basketball - Regina thwarts Mid-Prairie

The Regina Regals (Iowa City, IA) basketball knocked off the visiting Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks (Wellman, IA), 69-52 in Thursday's league test.
The Regals (10-2) will now prepare for their test against North Linn (Troy Mills, IA). The Lynx go into the non-league test with a 11-0 record. In their last test, North Linn notched a victory over Calamus-Wheatland (Wheatland, IA), 82-54, in a league test.
The Golden Hawks now own a 5-5 record. They play next when they host Tipton for a River Valley test on Friday, January 12. Mid-Prairie will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 61-37 league loss to Northeast (Goose Lake, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 5-6.
