Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks (Wellman, IA) and the visiting Regina Regals (Iowa City, IA), saw Mid-Prairie's basketball squad hold off Regina by a tally of 60-53.

With the victory, Mid-Prairie improves its record to 11-7 on the campaign. The Golden Hawks host Tipton (Tipton, IA) to confront the Tigers in a River Valley challenge on Monday, February 5. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 8-11.

Next up, the Regals confront the West Liberty Comets (West Liberty, IA) in a River Valley challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Regina will attempt to improve on its 14-4 season record.
