In Thursday's league match, the visiting Leading Edge Academy - GEC Spartans basketball team scored a good 48-40 triumph over the Arete Prep CHARGERS.

In their next game, the Spartans meet the Miami Vandals (Miami, AZ) in a 2A Valley match, on Tuesday, January 16. Leading Edge Academy - GEC will attempt to better on its 13-4 season record. The Vandals enter the match with a 14-4 record after their 98-13 league win over San Tan Charter (Gilbert, AZ).
