Benzie Central Huskies (Benzonia, MI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Leland Comets (Leland, MI), 36-29 in a league bout.

With the win, Benzie Central upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Huskies host Ludington (Ludington, MI) to clash with the Orioles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Orioles go into the bout with a record of 6-4.

Next up, the Comets clash with the Grand Traverse Academy Mustangs (Traverse City, MI) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 15. Leland will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 28-25 non-league win over Harbor Light Christian (Harbor Springs, MI).
